This Privacy Policy describes how HawkLend ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information from visitors and users of hawklend.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, ZIP, state, and any details you submit through application forms.
- Information from your device: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page.
- Information from cookies and similar technologies: session identifiers, niche preference, A/B test variants, attribution source.
2. How we use your information
- To match you with relevant lender, card issuer, or insurance carrier offers.
- To send you matched offers and rate alerts (only with your consent).
- To improve site performance, fix bugs, and run editorial analytics.
- To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How we share your information
- With providers you choose to apply with. When you submit an application form, we share your information with the providers matched to your profile.
- With service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery). They may only use the data on our behalf.
- For legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We never sell your personal information to third-party data brokers.
4. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, request deletion, or opt out of marketing at any time by emailing info@hawklend.com.
5. California residents (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:

- Request deletion of personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any CCPA right, email info@hawklend.com with subject line "CCPA Request" and include your full name, email, and the right you want to exercise. We will respond within 45 days.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: HawkLend does not sell personal information. We may "share" personal information with our matched providers only when you submit an application; you can opt out by not submitting.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for: session continuity, A/B testing, niche preference, and to remember whether you've already subscribed to alerts. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work but some features (such as remembering your preference) will not.
7. Data security
We use 256-bit TLS encryption for all data in transit. Stored data is encrypted at rest. Our partners are SOC2-aligned. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
HawkLend is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
